Job Summary
DataBridge is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Database Intern with hands-on interest in MySQL and MongoDB to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Support database performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization tasks.
- Help in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure database integration with applications.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
- Document database configurations, processes, and updates for internal knowledge sharing.
- Conduct basic data analysis and reporting as required by projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Familiarity with SQL queries, indexing, and database structures.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and normalization techniques.
- Ability to write scripts for data manipulation and extraction.
- Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- Prior academic projects or internship experience related to databases is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exposure to database management tools, data analysis, or backend development will be an advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with a minimum commitment of 20–25 hours per week.
