Job Summary


DataBridge is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Database Intern with hands-on interest in MySQL and MongoDB to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining MySQL and MongoDB databases.

  • Support database performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization tasks.

  • Help in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure database integration with applications.

  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.

  • Document database configurations, processes, and updates for internal knowledge sharing.

  • Conduct basic data analysis and reporting as required by projects.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

  • Familiarity with SQL queries, indexing, and database structures.

  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and normalization techniques.

  • Ability to write scripts for data manipulation and extraction.

  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.




Experience



  • Prior academic projects or internship experience related to databases is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Exposure to database management tools, data analysis, or backend development will be an advantage.




Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours with a minimum commitment of 20–25 hours per week.

  • Work-from-home options available, with occasional virtual team meetings.

  • Quick learner with curiosity about database technologies and data management best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
