QA Intern – Manual and Automation Testing

Job Summary

TestMasters is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to both manual and automation testing in a dynamic software development environment. The role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain real-world experience in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks while contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.


• Perform manual testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.


• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand requirements and resolve defects.


• Support in writing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar).


• Document test results and prepare detailed bug reports.


• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and quality review meetings.


• Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong interest in software quality assurance and testing.


• Basic knowledge of manual testing processes and defect life cycle.


• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).


• Understanding of automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus.


• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience

• No prior professional experience required.


• Academic projects, personal coding work, or testing experience will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours, approximately 20–30 hours per week for part-time interns.


• Full-time options may be available depending on project requirements.


• Remote or hybrid working arrangements may be offered.
