Job Summary
SkyNet Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud computing, microservices architecture, and containerization using Docker. The selected candidate will work closely with our development and DevOps teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that drive innovation and scalability for enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications using microservices architecture.
- Work with Docker for containerization and understand orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Support the development and integration of APIs within microservices environments.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of cloud-based systems.
- Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and best practices for cloud development.
- Prepare technical documentation to support project requirements and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Basic knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization concepts.
- Familiarity with Docker and related tools.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience
- No prior professional experience required.
- Academic projects, personal projects, or internships involving cloud computing, microservices, or Docker will be an added advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours, with an expectation of 20–25 hours per week for part-time interns or 40 hours per week for full-time interns.
