Job Summary
DataStream is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Database Management Intern to join our dynamic IT team. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL and Oracle databases, while supporting real-world business applications. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL and Oracle databases.
- Perform routine database monitoring, backups, and performance tuning.
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Assist with troubleshooting database issues and resolving errors efficiently.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless data management.
- Document database configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in database migration and upgrade projects under supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle database concepts.
- Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Familiarity with database queries, joins, indexing, and optimization techniques.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.

Experience
- No prior professional experience required; candidates with academic projects or certifications in SQL/Oracle will be preferred.

Working Hours
- Full-time internship: 5 days a week, flexible working hours.
- Remote or hybrid options may be considered depending on project requirements.
