Job Summary
TestHub is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Intern – QA Automation to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in automated testing, quality assurance processes, and software development life cycles. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure functionality aligns with specifications.
- Collaborate with software developers and QA teams to understand requirements, design test cases, and improve test coverage.
- Document defects, issues, and test results clearly and communicate findings to the development team.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team meetings to stay aligned with project goals.
- Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and contribute ideas for enhancing testing efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; internships or academic projects demonstrating QA/testing experience are highly valued.
- Exposure to real-world testing scenarios, automated scripts, or participation in software development projects is a plus.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with a standard expectation of 20–30 hours per week.
- Remote or on-site options depending on availability and company policy.
- Duration: 3–6 months, with potential for extension based on performance.
