Job Summary


PixelWave is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Design Intern to join our dynamic design team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge web and mobile interface projects, contributing to the creation of seamless and visually appealing user experiences. Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in designing intuitive, engaging, and responsive web and mobile interfaces.

  • Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand user needs and translate them into compelling design solutions.

  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual designs that align with project requirements.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and optimize interface designs.

  • Maintain design consistency across platforms while adhering to brand guidelines.

  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.

  • Support the design team in preparing presentations and visual assets for stakeholders.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Strong foundational knowledge of UX/UI principles for web and mobile applications.

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail and color theory.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.




Experience



  • No prior professional experience is required; this internship is ideal for students or recent graduates in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Portfolio showcasing web and/or mobile design projects (academic, personal, or freelance) is highly recommended.




Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours; minimum commitment of 20–25 hours per week.

  • Remote-friendly work environment with regular virtual team meetings.

  • Duration: 3–6 months, with potential for full-time opportunity based on performance.

  • Strong analytical skills to understand user behavior and design needs.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
