Job Summary
PixelWave is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Design Intern to join our dynamic design team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing intuitive, engaging, and responsive web and mobile interfaces.
- Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand user needs and translate them into compelling design solutions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual designs that align with project requirements.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and optimize interface designs.
- Maintain design consistency across platforms while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Support the design team in preparing presentations and visual assets for stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of UX/UI principles for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail and color theory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
- No prior professional experience is required; this internship is ideal for students or recent graduates in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related fields.
- Portfolio showcasing web and/or mobile design projects (academic, personal, or freelance) is highly recommended.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours; minimum commitment of 20–25 hours per week.
- Remote-friendly work environment with regular virtual team meetings.
- Duration: 3–6 months, with potential for full-time opportunity based on performance.

- Strong analytical skills to understand user behavior and design needs.
