Job Summary
TestLab Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA & Testing Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, offering exposure to real-world software quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will gain practical knowledge of testing methodologies, bug tracking, and quality assurance tools, preparing them for a future career in software testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Assist in creating test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
- Participate in continuous learning sessions to improve testing skills and understanding of QA best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to articulate testing issues clearly.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and tools.
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; fresh graduates or students in Computer Science, IT, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to coding/scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript) will be advantageous for automation tasks.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with part-time or full-time options depending on availability.
- Interns are expected to commit 20–40 hours per week.
- Remote and on-site work opportunities available depending on project requirements.
