Job Summary
DataHive is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our dynamic analytics team. This internship offers hands-on experience in extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to drive business insights and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in data analytics, a knack for problem-solving, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Develop SQL queries to extract relevant data for analysis and reporting.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports using PowerBI to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for internal stakeholders based on analytical findings.
- Support ongoing data quality and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management concepts.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, preferably PowerBI.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, including functions, pivot tables, and charts.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and actionable insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience
- This is an internship position, suitable for students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Previous project experience in data analysis or visualization is a plus but not mandatory.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with the possibility of remote work.
- Expected commitment: 20–30 hours per week for a period of 3–6 months.
