Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in risk assessment exercises and contribute to remediation strategies.
- Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of security policies, procedures, and awareness programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and threat modeling.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and networking protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and curious approach to learning.
Experience
- Previous internships, projects, or coursework related to cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or IT security is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit) is desirable but not mandatory.
Working Hours
- Full-time or part-time options available, flexible to accommodate academic schedules.
- Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential remote work options.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts and frameworks.
- Ability to analyze security logs and identify suspicious activity.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) is advantageous.
