Job Summary
MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a responsible and experienced Evening Shift Cab Driver to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, timely, and comfortable transportation services for our clients and employees. This role requires punctuality, reliability, and excellent driving skills while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-assigned vehicles for evening shifts, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Pick up and drop off clients, employees, and other authorized personnel at designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Monitor vehicle performance and report any issues or required maintenance to management promptly.
- Manage trip logs, fuel receipts, and other required documentation accurately.
- Assist passengers with luggage or other transportation needs when necessary.
- Ensure timely arrival for all scheduled pickups and drop-offs, maintaining excellent time management.
- Follow company policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle class (Light/Commercial vehicle license preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Chennai city roads, traffic rules, and safe driving practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stress and navigate busy evening traffic conditions.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a professional driver or cab driver.
- Prior experience in evening/night shift driving is preferred.
- Experience driving both sedans and SUVs will be considered an advantage.
Working Hours
- Evening shift: Typically from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM (flexible based on company requirements).
- Occasional overtime may be required depending on operational demands.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Safe and defensive driving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Chennai streets, shortcuts, and peak traffic hours.
- Good problem-solving abilities for unforeseen road or traffic situations.
