Job Summary
Disney Digital is seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This internship offers hands-on experience in creating engaging content, managing digital campaigns, and analyzing social media performance for one of the world’s most iconic entertainment brands. The role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about storytelling, brand building, and digital marketing strategies.
As a Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Disney Digital’s online presence and help drive audience engagement across multiple platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical marketing experience while contributing to campaigns that reach millions globally.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across Disney Digital’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, influencer collaborations, and paid ads.
Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and prepare reports on key metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategies.
Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually appealing graphics, videos, and other digital assets.
Help manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in line with Disney’s brand voice.
Assist in brainstorming innovative campaign ideas and marketing strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with an eye for visually appealing content and storytelling.
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.) is a plus.
Experience
Prior internship or project experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation is desirable but not mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours
Flexible working hours with options for remote or hybrid participation.
Expected commitment: 20–40 hours per week depending on the internship type and academic requirements.
