Job Summary:

Disney HR Careers is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Intern to join our dynamic HR team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent management, recruitment processes, and HR operations within a globally recognized organization. The intern will collaborate with HR professionals to attract, engage, and retain top talent, supporting Disney’s mission to foster an inclusive, high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Support HR team in onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices, talent acquisition strategies, and market trends.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and HR databases accurately.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Draft HR documents, reports, and presentations for management.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  • Participate in HR projects and special assignments as assigned by the HR manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Experience:

  • Previous internship or project experience in human resources, recruitment, or administration is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated leadership or participation in student organizations, clubs, or community initiatives is advantageous.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working hours based on university schedule and business needs.
  • Full-time or part-time commitment negotiable, typically 20–40 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance procedures is a plus.
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
