Job Summary:
Disney HR Careers is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Intern to join our dynamic HR team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Support HR team in onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Conduct research on HR best practices, talent acquisition strategies, and market trends.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and HR databases accurately.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Draft HR documents, reports, and presentations for management.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
- Participate in HR projects and special assignments as assigned by the HR manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related fields.
- Strong interest in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Previous internship or project experience in human resources, recruitment, or administration is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership or participation in student organizations, clubs, or community initiatives is advantageous.
Working Hours:
- Flexible working hours based on university schedule and business needs.
- Full-time or part-time commitment negotiable, typically 20–40 hours per week.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance procedures is a plus.
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
