Job Summary
Disney Interactive Studios is seeking passionate and creative Game Development Interns to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

- Support debugging, performance optimization, and quality assurance for ongoing projects.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for game narratives and features.
- Document development processes, maintain organized project files, and assist in version control management.
- Keep up-to-date with gaming trends, technologies, and Disney’s brand standards to ensure high-quality output.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with game engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot.
- Understanding of game mechanics, physics, AI, and interactive design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience
- Prior experience in personal or academic game projects, hackathons, or internships is a plus but not mandatory.
- Portfolio of game projects, mods, or interactive applications is highly desirable.
Working Hours
- Flexible hours tailored for interns, typically 20–30 hours per week.
- Duration: 3–6 months (with possibility of extension based on performance and availability).
- Hybrid or remote options may be available depending on Disney Interactive Studios’ guidelines.
