Job Summary
Disney Cybersecurity Division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our IT Security & Compliance team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing network traffic, security alerts, and potential vulnerabilities.
- Support the team in maintaining compliance with IT security policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct security risk assessments and document findings for management review.
- Participate in internal audits, security testing, and incident response activities.
- Help develop and maintain documentation for cybersecurity processes, protocols, and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure deployment of IT solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and information risk management.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Experience
- No prior professional experience is required, but academic projects, lab work, or hands-on experience in IT security will be advantageous.
Working Hours
- This internship is full-time or part-time (flexible), with hours aligned to the Disney Cybersecurity Division’s operational schedule. Remote work options may be available depending on current company policies.
