Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and creative Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2-6 years. You will be responsible for fostering cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
As a Preschool Teacher, you will collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and administrative staff to create a positive foundation for lifelong learning and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that support learning goals and developmental milestones.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore and express themselves.
- Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and development; provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster social skills, emotional development, and conflict resolution among children.
- Integrate creative arts, music, play, and hands-on activities into daily curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to enhance educational programs and ensure compliance with childcare regulations.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, events, and classroom updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred).
- Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best teaching practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and implement creative and engaging activities for preschool children.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage classroom behavior positively.
- Basic proficiency in educational technology tools is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Preschool Teacher or in a similar early childhood education role is preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting.
- Exposure to curriculum planning and parent-teacher interaction is an advantage.
Working Hours
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible based on school schedule).
- Part-Time options may be available depending on the institution’s needs.

- Creative and resourceful in designing activities that engage children.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
