Job Summary
As a Warehouse Manager at HR Service Jobs, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for managing the entire warehousing process, including inventory management, logistics, and team supervision. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining a safe and productive work environment while optimizing our supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory control measures to minimize losses.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to foster a high-performance culture and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to streamline operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within logistics and supply chain.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and logistics operations.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Experience with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime as required to meet operational demands.
