Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement technical requirements.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in web development, and apply them as necessary.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer, particularly with CodeIgniter framework.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Demonstrable experience in building scalable web applications.
• Experience in a senior or lead developer role preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexibility in hours to accommodate project deadlines.
