Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant / Account Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing administrative support and assisting with financial tasks, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and answering phone calls.
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, data entry, and maintaining financial records.
- Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting and analysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Support team members with various administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associates or bachelors degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
Experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Previous experience in customer service or a client-facing role is advantageous.
Working Hours
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility required as needed.
