Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing patient files.
- Assist in the coordination of telehealth services, ensuring all necessary documentation and technology are in place for virtual visits.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to relay information and gather necessary data.
- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Conduct research and prepare reports as requested by healthcare professionals.
- Assist in the management of healthcare-related projects and initiatives.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Support the onboarding process for new staff and contribute to training materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Experience in administrative roles or virtual assistance is a plus.
- Familiarity with telehealth services and remote patient management is beneficial.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with a commitment of approximately 20-40 hours per week, depending on project needs and availability.
