CostCo is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate and efficient data processing systems. Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate data in various databases and systems.
- Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before entry.
- Perform regular data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data entry processes are efficient and effective.
- Assist in generating reports and summaries from data entries for management review.
- Provide support for other administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or data management is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management software.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience
- Previous experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
- Experience in retail or customer service sectors is advantageous.

Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with the expectation of 40 hours per week.
- Availability to work evenings or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
