Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Cisco VoIP systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve voice-related issues, including call quality, connectivity, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess user needs and implement effective voice solutions.
  • Conduct regular system audits and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide training and support to end-users regarding voice system features and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  • Prepare documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Voice Gateways, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323) and Quality of Service (QoS) principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Relevant Cisco certifications (CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration) are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cisco voice engineering or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of managing Cisco voice systems in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting voice-related issues in real-time.

Working Hours
