Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Business Education / Computer Applications Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for business education and computer applications that meets state standards and student needs.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that facilitate student learning and promote critical thinking skills.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.
- Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance the learning experience and promote digital literacy.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the educational experience.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning, including the management of student behavior and fostering a positive classroom culture.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and program updates.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in business education and technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Education, Education, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification in Business Education and/or Computer Applications.
- Strong understanding of business principles, computer applications, and educational technology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a high school setting, specifically in Business Education or Computer Applications.
- Experience developing and implementing curriculum in a classroom environment.
- Familiarity with modern educational technologies and their applications in business education.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Typical working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional hours required for lesson planning, grading, and professional development.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
- Proficient in using various computer applications and educational software.
