Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate student performance through various assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.

  • Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning, including the management of student behavior and fostering a positive classroom culture.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and program updates.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in business education and technology.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Education, Education, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification in Business Education and/or Computer Applications.
  • Strong understanding of business principles, computer applications, and educational technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a high school setting, specifically in Business Education or Computer Applications.
  • Experience developing and implementing curriculum in a classroom environment.
  • Familiarity with modern educational technologies and their applications in business education.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
  • Typical working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional hours required for lesson planning, grading, and professional development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Proficient in using various computer applications and educational software.
