Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our accounts payable and receivable processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health by ensuring timely processing of invoices, monitoring payments, and assisting with financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and collections.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all financial transactions and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into cash flow and financial performance.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and clients regarding billing and payment issues.
- Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a part-time capacity.
- Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a corporate environment is a plus.
Working Hours
- Part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
