Key Responsibilities

• Build trust with patients to minimize discomfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations, including proper disposal of medical waste.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certification in Phlebotomy (CPT or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, with a high success rate in obtaining samples.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients of all ages.
• Knowledge of laboratory and medical terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory setting (1+ year preferred).
• New graduates with practical training are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Flexible schedules available, including part-time, full-time, and per diem opportunities.
